Mayfield Fringe returns this year for live music, poetry, visual art, film, wine, storytelling and theatre.

MAYFIELD ARTISTS OPEN STUDIOS/ART TRAIL
A newly formed group of Mayfield visual artists are opening their studios and houses to form an Art Trail around Mayfield and Five Ashes. The Trail of 15 venues are scattered throughout the High Street and surrounding areas of the village and will be opening to the public from 11 – 14 May and this year will coincide with Mayfield Fringe Festival.
The artworks for sale include an exciting mix of painting, batik, ceramics, sculpture, decoupage, woodwork, jewellery and more, and a map of the Art Trail and further information about the event will be included in the May issue of this Newsletter. Details about artists, opening times, and refreshments available at each venue will be available in leaflets displayed in High Street shops and pubs from mid/end April.
The Trail is a pilot project for this year and we hope that with successful promotion and good participation by Mayfield residents and visitors that it will grow into an annual event to showcase the diverse and excellent talent of Mayfield and Five Ashes artists.
